Like wool, viscose is a completely biodegradable fibre from natural sources such as wood and agricultural products that are regenerated as cellulose fibre.

Tencel^TM is a registered trademark of Austria based company Lenzing AG. The actual fibre is Lyocell – made from bleached wood pulp using a technique called dry jet-wet spinning.

It is a unique man-made fibre with very low environmental damage and hence the new favourite among the contemporary carpet manufacturers like us.

The Lyocell fibers are environmentally sustainable, 100% biodegradable, can take a lot of wear-tear and manage room humidity, along with fewer bacteria getting accumulated in a room leading to a healthier living home. Yes, they are moth resistant too!
