The traditional rugs and carpets that we craft are available in pure silk, pure Merino wool and a perfect blend of wool-silk rugs.

The traditional rugs are crafted by our master craftsmen and women on their looms with expertise and experience of several years, if not decades!

Each of the handmade hand-knotted rugs is designed uniquely and crafted over several and even months!days/weeks; depending on several factors like size, design complexity and material used.

As many of the traditional rugs are custom made, each of them goes thru a series of procedures to craft a masterpiece.

Stage 1: The designing stage – Traditional carpets have either floral, geometric or pictorial designs (depicting hunting scene, flower vases, animals etc.). The designing is done in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software that enables all the vested parties to approve and share their feedback at the design level.

Stage 2: The selection stage – Material and colours are selected depending on the brief received from the client. Traditionally, pure silk has been the material of choice for its finesse and soft luxurious feel. A pure silk traditional rug has always been a piece of art that accentuates the home decor and is appreciated by the connoisseur of art and home decor specialists.

The next preferred choice of material is pure Merino wool. One of the most enduring natural fibres makes this an ideal choice for oriental rugs, that can withstand regular usage and rigmarole for many decades to come.

The typical areas of high footfalls are the corridors and passageway. We have a vast range of runners that range in size from 2 feet by 6 feet to 3 feet by 14 feet!
